  • Teaching: 22 years of teaching experience, handling / handled various Civil / Environmental
    Engineering courses.
  • Research Experience: 3 years (July 1994 – November 1997) as Senior Research Fellow (CSIR) in Environmental Engineering Division in the Department of Civil Engineering Andhra University College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam.

Administrative Posts held :

  1. Worked as Assistant Coordinator of Examinations, GITAM, from 01-10-2006 to 17-11-2008.
  2. Worked as Joint Director, Centre for Distance Learning, GITAM University from 17-11-2008 to 29-04-2016.
  3. Presently working as Director, Centre for Distance Learning, GITAM University since 30-04-2016.

AWARDS AND FELLOWSHIPS:

  • Senior Research Fellowship awarded by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) – New Delhi.

  1. Contributed one chapter on Environment : A city prone to pollution. This report was launched by GIFT (GITAM Institute of Foreign Trade) with community participation on 26 th July 2003 for the rejuvenation of Visakhapatnam that has resulted in the preparation of Visakhapatnam Development Report which encompasses a vision for Visakhapatnam based on a set of beliefs.
  2. Contributed eight chapters in the course material for P.G. Diploma in Environmental Studies, School of Distance Education, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.
  3. Contributed one chapter in the course material for II/III B.A, B.Com, B.Sc students, School of Distance Education, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.
  4. Contributed four chapters in the course material for Introduction to Environment for B.A/B.Com programs – Centre for Distance Learning, GITAM University.
